1987-1989 Formula, T/A, or GTA
I am looking for an all original or mostly original 87-89 Firebird Formula, Trans Am, or Trans Am GTA. Has to be a factory 305 TPI 5 speed car. Let me know if you've got one you want to sell, thanks.
Re: 1987-1989 Formula, T/A, or GTA
In case you change your mind a bit, I have a the following for sale:
This is a pristine 1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula convertible WS6 5.0 liter V8 TBI. This vehicle was ordered on 03-20-89, shipped 06-30-89 from ASC, Inc. (the factory authorized converter for removal of the t-tops and conversion into a convertible) to Matteson Pontiac. In 1989, ASC, Inc. reported 330 Firebird convertibles, but according to the sales order log as of 21 Aug 1989 there were only 324 made. Of this list, 10 were exported and another 5 have no record in the US, leaving just 309. This was the ONLY convertible Firebird that Matteson Pontiac ordered for the 1989 model year and it was owned by the dealership owner. This car is #55 of the known 59 Firebird Convertibles with the L03 engine in 1989. It was driven & garaged in Florida until April 2006. Only driven in Ohio on sunny days and garage stored. ACTUAL MILES 26,159!!! Automatic, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, PS, PB, AM-FM cassette, A/C, New 3" Flowmaster catback exhaust, headlight assembly rebuild kit in 2007, front suspension "Wonder Bar". Selling to reduce number of "toys" in household! Must see to believe!

Thanks for the offer, but I'll be patient and wait for a TPI car. Good luck selling your car though, there has got to be somebody looking for low production original like that.

It depends on the car, I would like to find a nice one for around $3500. I would pay more though for something really nice (one owner, low miles, all service records, etc.) Is your 88 Formula for sale???

I'm thinking about it, but $3500 won't by it. Here's a link to a thread with some pics-
