I am going to start my Trans Am hunt- now that i am with out and the itch only 7days old is killing. I am starting alittle early with my hunt cause its not like i have 4-5grand to buy with.

So in short- project wanted-interior and exterior i am not to conserned about- driveline- has to be atleast good shape.

I think the rule will be...if i can drive it home-ill buy it.

I live in NJ and have a 90% complete firebird. Its not a trans am but everything is perfect except for a dent in the door and the 305 is out. I wanted to hot rod it since it was a really good car and pulled the 305 to be replaced with a 400hp 357ci. Im selling it without the engine for around $3500 and with im selling $4700. Im over in lancaster pa (not too far), I have an 87 gta 305 tpi. I have a complete black interior except for the seats. I currently have the 700r4 out because I was going to swap in a t56 but it runs fine and I could put the trans back in for you given a day or twos notice. its red with a grey passengers door, couple minor dings and no spoiler. I'd like to get about $1000 out of it, its less than what I have in it, but its been a fun car. I have the complete t56 swap as well as some other go fast stuff if youre interested as well. Great car but Im buying a house and dont really have the time or money at the moment, let me know if youre interested, in more info.

 

Damn...dude- sweet offer, that would be a great way to jump back in to the TA's...i am at 10days and i think i am going threw withdraw...i followed a 69 firebid that sounded like the fraggle rock guys were operating the motor...just to see if it would be for sale...what the hell am i thinking i thought afterwards...

but as i mentioned- dude i dont have 4-5g's....if i did. i call yeah, but i was in a bad pinch to sell my baby (dream car) and i am only able to kinda start hunting now, because i got a good comission check (not always this good)...but even then- not that good either...

Taxes come around next month but money is already spent-so i am kinda stuck....granted. I could land some good airbrushing giggs in the next few weeks and that'll help get close to your mark...but that is not 100% either.

in short....airbrushing = trans am money...

i wil keep your info and if i get something/you have it still-ill make an offer, but i am a respectful person and wouldnt unless it was a fair offer...

believe me-i learned how a$$ backwards some people can be- during the selling of my TA-GTA....some of the offers -were just insaulting...

Like i said i am hunting a little sooner then i should but i cant help it. But this is something i gotta get soon...i cant take it!!!! driving me nuts- i have spent hours on craigslist looking all over and every city (think i am up to texas now) lol
but really would hate to have to figure out how the **** ill get anything home that far away.

i believe i replyed to everyone so far and am in contact with the offers to see what panns out...

think is- may have to just get two-because the deals are so fair.

i have an 89 GTA rebuilt 350 in it needs paint and minor interior work and PS pump as well..Underneath is clean no rot at all..T-5 swap already done new clutch etc..Looking to get 3300 firm on it..It is on the road inspected and ready to drive...Pm me if you would like..I am located in Ny so i should not be all that far from you
