Walbro GSS340 255L/HR FUEL PUMP!!
Hey All!! My boss is here at Vivid Racing is letting me throw together a group purchase for you guys. I wouldn't say this is a company trying to sell a whole bunch of these, more me seeing how many people here on the boards really need one of these and me nagging my boss to get it to ya for dirt cheap
Walbro GSS340 255l/hr Fuel Pump: $90!!!!
The likelyhood you will ever find this pump for that cheap BRAND NEW is perdy slim. I need a minimum of 25 people to commit to this in order to get that pricing. Seeing as how incredibly universal this pump is (should work in ALL THIRD GEN F-BODIES, re-uses stock pump accessories) and is a MUST if you plan on modding your car, you'd be missing out hardcore if you don't pick it up at this price!
Shipping will be ~$7 in the US. Can do international. Please post a commitment to this GP, and send me an e-mail at bruce@vividracing.com as well so I know I can count on you. PLEASE, if you commit, make sure you are going to commit all the way through! Thanks a lot guys, and hopefully if this goes well I can talk my boss into letting me get other stuff for TGO!!
Bruce (90RS305)
So far I have 9 solid commitments for 11/25 pumps:
ShiftyCapone
Dewey316
SchwarzCamaroRS
RBob (3)
steve8586iroc
NAVY084
91 z28 350
CrashedMatrix
Metal Tech

Yes you still have plenty of time. I need a commitment of at least 25 before I can even order the parts. We are for all intents and purposes direct with Walbro, so it won't take very long to get the parts ordered in. Right now I just need the commitments...
Everyone, please post here AND e-mail me at bruce@vividracing.com with your commitment so I can keep better track of this group purchase! Thanks!

Bruce,
Its going to be a few weeks before I have money... I'm only a solid commentment if this drags out a bit. If I had to pay tomorrow, I can't swing it.

The way it will work is I am going to ask everyone to contact me with billing information (credit card/shipping address) once I have enough people, and then order the parts in and ship them out!

You gonna want one?
The timing is bad. And I don't need a pump at this time. I was thinking about two, making it a twin in-tank setup similar to my Cobra but I don't have the twin turbo setup running yet so I'm not sure if I even need to change my current setup.
What's most important now is that I've got other immediate expenses to deal with for the next month. I'll be free in about 30 days but that would be too late, I'm assuming.

Sent an email confirming. It sucks that they are normally so expensive b/c the walbro for my wrx is under $100. I guess it is all about supply and demand though. Keeps the prices down.
For us runnig tbi's it looks to me that the 190 would supply all our tbi needs and then some. Would it be possible to order either the 190 or the 255 lph pump?

Let's talk about me! Being in on this one!
I'm in for one now, possibly 2 when it comes time to ante up.
Will the 340 run fine at 60 -65 PSI? If so it would be perfect for my s-10 with a Vortec swap.
I'll send an email when I get home!

Yes sorry, I've been unable to access the internet for a while now, finally got back on. Right now there are a few kinks in the works, for I am no longer with Vivid Racing, but I am currently talking to my old boss to make sure he will still let us go through with it. I can't imagine why he wouldn't though. I will post as soon as I have more information...

Also, is that $90 for just the pump? or the kit as well? There's another site on the net with pumps for $93, so this may be a competitive price range. I typed in "Walbro fuel pump" on google and went to a few of the first listings.
UPDATE!!!
this is 90RS305 aka Bruski speaking through Schwarzy
bruski will have his internet back on within 24 hours, he is still negotiating the pump deal with vivid and will let us know what happens as soon as he can... thanks for your patience
