Ok so TPI383 is selling custom CNC'd Z28 emblems for your car;



He is selling custom CNC'd Nose emblems as key chains;



BUT, I've been hassleing him to make me an IROC-Z keychain with the correct slanted font with stripes making the letters. If I can get about 20 or so people interested, he will make a run of key chains for us.

They will be made of 6061 T6 Aluminum and the size will be roughly the same as the nose emblem key chains; 2 inches long x 1 1/16th inch wide x 7/16th inches thick... or close to it. These solid aluminum key chains so they've got a bit of weight to them, probably a couple of ounces.

They will be avaliable in four different formats: natural finish, natural finish with painted recesses, polished, or polished with painted recesses. Here is an example of some of the finishes;



Price, if enough people are interested, would be $20 shipped to your door within the US in any of the four avaliable finishes.

Please post here or PM me if you are interested in purchasing a key chain. This will be to gauge and show interest so we can get some made. This will be for Z28 and IROC-Z key chains only. I'm sure we can get something made up for people with birds if you can round up around 20 people.

I would be interested in a set of the emblems fully polished with the black back ground. Do they come in IROC-Z? If the price is right... they would really pop against the black on my car. There the same size as the originals right? So they would fit into the ground effects like stock?

TPI383, here is a pic of my rear emblem, I think it would be easier to made a keychain from this image then it would be from the last one I posted. (this one has less lines going through the 'iroc')

Im sending the IROC Z fount I have over to the machine shop 2nite and Im headed down there in a few days to pick up another batch of stuff I have made.

Id like a SOLID "YES" I want one and a willing to put a deposit down type of answer from you guys who are for sure.

I have a chunk of change I have to layout a my pocket to get this done. Which is no problem as long as I don't get stuck sitting on these things.

Isn't it funny when you first posted this thread, there was a whole bunch of people wanting these key chains/emblems...but when when it comes down to it there is only a handful that actually are getting them wake up guy's don't say you want them then jam out on the last minute, you have to understand that the person "TPI383" responsible is shelling out the cash for these...don't stiff him...keep to your word

I still have 2 sets of the Z28 emblems Im sittin on because of the same reason. Thats one reason I havent moved on to the RS and IROC-Z emblem sets yet. Or a few of the other projects I have in mind.

Never did get off the ground. Not enough interest for me to make a big batch of them since I had to buy large sheets of aluminum to offset the cost n run time on the cnc.

 

I want a set of the IROC ones AND a set of the Z28 ones. Could I get a pic of them? They seem to be broken links at the top of this thread. I sent an email before reading the last post. Hope we can still get these
