So, as I come to find out, GM decided to discontinue the front chin spoiler that is on the 91-92 Camaro.
The only place to get the front chin spoiler is hawksthirdgen at a whopping $400. Dunno why $400 since they were sold on the final day at $24. One hell of a mark-up.
Anyway, I found a business that was doing the rear valence for the CME on the LS1 SS on LS1Tech. I then contacted them about doing the front spoiler for the 91-92 Camaro in Urethane. They were able to do it with a first run production requirement of 20 orders. Cost....$280 SHIPPED! FREAKING AWESOME!
Post up if you are 100% commited to getting one and I will add you to the list. You will not pay me, you will pay the guy doing the work.

And I will add a GM part pic of the front spoiler so you know what I am talking about (if you didn't already). Part 1 is the Front Bumper Cover. Part 2 is the front chin spoiler/valence.

Yea put me down for one!
Will do.
This is my first time to organize a GP.
Let me know if I am doing this right...I thought there would be ALOT more interest in this. Seeing as though this would be the cheapest they would be offered, there would be MUCH more people getting one. Hell, I am getting 3!

Once the word gets out that these are no longer a GM item, I am sure the price will jump for one that is in perfect condition. All I have seen on ebay and around here are ones with rips and gouges.

do some negotiating, let try to get a better discount the more members there are involved. also, how about the earlier years front spoilers? i need one for a 89.
Well, I am sure that if there are more than the minimal 20 I would be in a better position to negotitate...until then, I am just the guy trying to get something going.
I know that if I wait too long, there will be another company out there trying to sell low quality, non-fitting fiberglass copies at a higher cost. Doing this for my 3rd Gen brothers.
If you need an regular front valence, there are lots of places to get them...not sure if GM still carries them but I know there are lots of aftermarket companies that sell them.

Ya I need one for my 89 but this is a GP so maybe they'll offer the different styles. Count me in if they do.
Scamo, your year model is not discontinued. You can still get it just about anywhere.
What is going to happen with this GP is that I will send them one of my 91-92 chin spoilers that will be cut-up and used as the model for the molds. I just want to make sure there is enough interest in this so I don't waste my time or money getting it all started.

SUBSCRIBED....until price is official...as this isnt something I NEED, just want.
ummm...price has already been set for 20 orders at $280 shipped (each).
1st step: 20+ people to submit their interest.
2nd step: Sending my OEM spoiler to them.
3rd step: Wait until they are done...a few weeks turn-a-round time.
4th step: Pay the $280 via paypal or Credit Card to those guys.
5th step: Paint and install the new front chin spoiler.
and yea, this is something I want as well (2 actually)...just not $400 worth of want.

Classic Industries has them for $199 plus shipping.
Not exact reproductions but very close. The molding is decent but the average body shop is going to have a few hours in cleaning, trimming and prep.
So this GP is officially OFF.

I have used the classic valence twice now and it fit better than the stock one. All the body shop had to do was spray it, thats it... no trimming, buffing, sanding ect ect fit perfectly.Originally Posted by camarobeast84
