HURST DUALGATE
If we could get enough members interested in getting some of these units purchased do you think we might convince them to produce some more, They are a great shifter and I had one in my old 442 and it worked really well. I know when they sold out to B M that they quit making them, but if enough people wanted one I would be glad to go to them and see what they would do. They really have a clean application and look really classy. Please let me know because I know I would really love to have one, and would pay a really fair price for one. Thanks for your help.

Re: HURST DUALGATE
DAMN, Count me in!
I have been searching for a reasonably priced one or some old stock laying around or something.
I like that shifter as well. After having a B&M mega shifter in my 84 (which BTW did not fit under the console as it hit and stripped the screw holes when ratcheted back) and using Hurst I will never waste my money on a B&M. The Hurst that does the very same thing has a simpler mechanism and works much smoother.
And BM means Bowel Movement!

Re: HURST DUALGATE

I should have a pic of one in a third gen console in one of my old Camaro mags. And if I remember right they used the stock shifter cable which is nice because you wont have that 3 foot cable to loop all over the place.
Here is just a pic I found on the web, its just a pic of the ones found in the Olds/Hurst cars I think

Re: HURST DUALGATE
I know, but that does not mean Hurst has to turn to sh*t (or in other words, A BM).
Maybe they can improve B&M

I'm interested. Let's gets something more final looking that people can get behind. Let me know if there is anything I can help research or do some phone calls.
