Who Needs Hood Or Rear Hatch Struts???
U read the title.... I kno I'm not the only one who has neglected their struts and resulted to using a broom handle! Let's see if some of our sponsors are willing to step up with a good GP for us. Who's in?

You know this might be an expensive way at first to save money later on but if you guys install the fiberglass wing, it will put less effort on the struts, mines were on their way out and i bought a fiberglass spolier and once i installed it, my struts were like new since they had to hold less weight..so just an idea, i guess it doesnt make sense if u have a good wing, speaking of...hmm we should see if maybe a fiberglass vendor can reduce cost if we guarantee them a few orders of F.G. wings

1A Auto on this site sells decent hood shocks. I believe that's where I got mine.
Also, this is very true on the fiberglass wings. I got mine off a GP here last year. Have not put it on yet, but it's a definite weight savings, especially on the Firebird.

I know this is an old thread.. But where can you get trunk struts that support the wires for the defrosters?

Re: Who Needs Hood Or Rear Hatch Struts???
i need em for hood and hatch, the ones on there are over a decade old and feel like they actually make it harder to open (at least the hatch). i have defrost/wiper/spoiler so i will need the ones with tabs to plug in my defrost though.... but I am down, was gonna get some from a junk yard but much prefer new ones.
