I am definitely interested in 1 3/4 x 3". I was heading towards mid length just because I am on a budget, but would rather have Hawks full length. It would depend on the price for me as well.

I've sent PM's and voicemails with Hawks and have not got a response. That must mean their not interested?

 

Can other suppliers order those headers through ssw? If that's the case I'd say we find a someone else that will play ball.

Strano carries SSW, I may give him an email and see if he can get a hold of them or not.

Doubtful. I know a SSW dealer and he has tried to get them. SSW sells exclusively through Hawks

 

Well it certainly looks that way, its a shame since it looks like about any other vendor out there will sell SW stuff 5-10+% under MSRP. I need to call hawks anyway to see where their mounts the motor.

 

I imagine Hawks probably developed them and just gets SSW to mass produce them. Essentially Hawks design, manufactured by SSW.

 

I got a VM from Bruce @ Hawks today,,, I'll be calling him back tomorrow. Maybe there is hope.

Yeah, and if that's the case they've earned the right to charge whatever they want for what sounds to be the best fitting/quality header out there for our cars.

I don't want to sound ungrateful, I'm really excited for these, I just hope a group buy will help them fit my budget as well as they hopefully fit my car.

 

Oh, I agree. I don't think it helps that everything for our cars is expensive. Bilsteins for my wife's magnum are like $102 and $278 for ours. Headers for any other car are $500 or less and $800+ for ours.

 

I just got off the phone with Bruce and he’s working with us on a deal.
He said prices will be going up shortly to over $900, so if you really need a set you might not want to put this off.

To get in you need to call Bruce directly 864-850-8865, ask for Bruce or leave a message if he is not available. Please don't be a punk and back out if you said you were in We only need 5 buyers here, and these are great headers, TIG welded stainless steel, great fit, and hand made in the USA. And you probably won't have another chance at them at this price.

 

Just ordered mine - we still need three more for a go.

 

I have been working on a separate deal with Bruce with all my parts I need for my swap. I need to find out that price first. Hopefully know tomorrow or next day.

I am definitely buying them one way or another, so let me find out my package price first before I commit to this one, or maybe mine will count. I will let you know as soon as I know.

I am in! I am buying other parts at the same time, although according to Bruce's email, it sounds like this should still count towards the GP.

I am planning on paying for mine tomorrow, I still have to ask Bruce about one more part tomorrow, but the headers are a definite GO!
