which is rarer or nicer to see?
just wondering some opinions on this, which do you guys figure is rarer and nicer to see on the roads these days. nice restored 3rd gen trans am or an z28(or iroc). i see more of the older irocs and Z's on the roads but not so many trans ams.. im not sure if this is affected by production number diferences or just a matter or Preference on the Vehicle.. what do you guys think?

Production numbers are very different between the 2 cars, so your gonna see more Camaros. But to see a really nice example of either is kinda rare sometimes.

I see more TAs and GTAs even though they made far less of them. Why? It appears that these were bought by more "adult" people and always have been owned by older folks...folks who didn't beat the hell out of them the way the 18-15 yr olds did with their new or used IROCs back in the day...
Then ones like the Formula you NEVER see, at least around here...I have one of only 3-4 3rd gen formies I see on a semi-regular basis!! Why?? Again, cheap V8 that attracted kids...

Nah there are really nice 1's that are driven, the complete show cars are stored like yours.
What you see is gonna be different in every area.

Yeah you do see them, you just gotta keep looking.
And dude, your car is a show car.
Just gotta get the stock stickers back on it. Would be great for the stock class at shows.

Gotta have the sticker dude, its like taking the GTO off of a GTO, and if they are put back right, no1 will ever know. It will look better with the correct look as was intended/stock, when you go to a show and there is a car like yours, you wanna see exactly the way it came from the factory and every1's gonna tell you when they see it. Judges always notice everything.

I prefer the visual candy of unrestored 82-86 Trans Ams, they are hard to find. I see quite a few Z-28s and RS on the road and If a Bird is spotted it's usually thrashed.

Chet, I agree with you on the door decal issue. Removing them was part of the cars history, besides if you are in a show based on points, I dont think the decals would hurt you very much considering how nice the rest of the car is.
Besides you took them off for a reason, dont put them back on just to please some judges. If you want them on, then go ahead and do it.
With or without them it is still an amazing car.
I always am happy to see a clean 82-84 TransAm at a show or on the road. And of course any other Bird too. Its also nice to see clean Camaro's. But the T/A's are my favorites.
