its the WA # located at the very bottom of that RPO sheet.

 

where is the rpo# usually located?

it says the color of my car (on the RPO decoder) is "Bright red", thats it? i thought it'd be a lil more detailed then that.

 

Should also tell you the type of paint, water base, base coat/clear coat, etc.

 

ah, i know its not water based because they didnt do that in 86 in the norwood plant.

 

I was just giving you some examples. There should be a letter code on the RPO sticker near the paint code.

examples:
WA= waterbase
BCCC=basecoat/clearcoat

I'd nave to look up the rest can't remember them off hand.
