How do u stop door handle from jingling
I have my door panel off and before I put it back I would like to make the door handle stiff like before. Now it jingles everytime you hit a bump or close the door. How do you stiffen it? Andy

Roll the window up, with the door panel off, and tighten the 2 10mm nuts holding the door handle on. That worked on mine. I've also been told that there is a spring on the handle itself, but cannot confirm that.
yea, i read in one of these posts that there is a spring on the handle, and it breaks, alot of time that is why they jingle. unfortunatly the only way to correct this is to buy a new handle from a parts store

Yep, if the handle jingles after tightening the inner nuts that hold it to the door skin, time to replace the whole thing.
Pretty reasonable at NAPA auto parts on the big spinning rack.
