85 iroc-z w/ 7500 miles
I was looking on ebay at this 7500 miles 1985 iroc-z and dicovered this. The decal under the z28 on the ground effect said 5.7 tuned port injection? He does not claim it to be a 350 but is this possibly signs of a wrecked car or what?

This car is crazy. Its an 85 305 TPI, and it has 88-90 stripes, 88-90 IROC-Z emblems, says 5.7 Tuned Port Injection, and the gearshift console looks to be from an 88-90 car or is the incorrect GM replacement.

The car is an 85, The question is, did the ground effects come off say a 88-90, because of accident or did the owner just mod the car a little bit.
My guess is the owner added that stuff because they liked it. The car has been modded a bit, rear hatch louvers, exhaust tips, windshield decal, fortunately nothing the can't be corrected.

i Don't think that those stickers under the IROC-Z emblem that say Tuned Port Injection are real...... I mean, if you look really closely their really clear, but the IRCO-Z emblem is not, i think that the guy altered the photos a little bit

The GFX are the same on all IROC-Z's. And the stickers are real.
why would someone alter it to a 5.7 when everyone knows the 85 are 5.0s and the ad says it is a 305.
i think someone swaped a new engine in there 7,500 miles ago, got some new paint, armor all the tires and put it on e-bay.

There is something not right with this car. Especially one that only has (so they say) 7,500 miles. the guy does give his phone number so someone could call and ask about the car.
