I'm working on this program and would love to get some user input. This is the firs functional release of the program. It is in C#. See the website for more information.

Ok I have the Graphical user interface version working GUI
http://www.geocities.com/fbodyvin/
Everything works as it should except, open, save, print.
You can highlight the output and ctrl-c and the past it into wordpad to print or save.
This program still requires the .net framework, download and install it from microsoft.

I just want to say that I think your program rocks! It's about time that there was a program like this just for us! I've got the current version on my computer right now. Let me know when you get a version that is fully functional, I'd like to have it available for download on TransAmGTA.com
Have you considered a stand alone 3rd gen RPO decoder? Now THAT would be VERY helpful. I have a decoder that is FAR better than the one here on Thirdgen.org as far as definitions so I could help you out allot with most of the so called unknown codes.
Drop me an email soon.

Yea the RPO decoder is in the works, I am going to see If I can get a definitive list from GM before I finish it. I am also going to try to make it run off a external database (flatfile) where users can add RPO's I don't have. Then there will be a function where they can upload said RPO to me where I can check it out and then add it.
Glad to see people are using it, I am writing it in my spare time so development may not be as quick as if I was writhing one for sale, but I'm just trying to help out my fellow F-body drivers.
I can't decide on the interface either, I guess a lot of textfields is the only way to go, Like off this site.
Also, I need some pictures of firebirds and Camaros, where I can create custom graphics for the installer, and splash screen (when I program it). Send any to fbodyvin@yahoo.com include your name if you want credit for the picture as being your car.
