What would you think a good price on an 84 in decent shape, no rust, interior in decent shape, (cracked dash pad, worn torn seats). The only damage I could spot was the driver 1/4 panel it has been bondoed, which I would grind out and fix it was a little wavy.
it has the functinal cowl, and trans am stickers on it I would have to look up the vin to see if it was actually a trans am or not.
I would like to get one to customise, my car is still factory and in good shape don't want to play around too much with my 89.
The previous owner had started working on it and has dyed all the panels on the inside black, I would go drk med grey myself.
It ran decent, a little heasitant on starting, but it probably just needs a tune up. the odometer had 68k on it I would assume its turned over so it has 168k on the car.

I have an 83TA with the functional hood scoop. My car has no ECM and never did. The scoop opens when vacume drops - so like if I just blip the throttle a little bit the scoop will open briefly.
i dont know of a way to check the cowl to see if it is opening correctly under WOT...so when i go to the track i push the lever all the way forward and i tie it to a long screw thats hanging down....that way i know for sure that its open!

Yeah - that she be. Built in Norwood. LG4, 200C, J65, 3:23. I have the dealer option sheet for it.
Turbo aluminum rims I think they're called - soon to be 17x9.5 SLP Firehawk rims.
No AIR system thankfully. No rust either and no longer a daily driver.
I bought it off my neigbour when it was about 4 years old - he didn't drive it much.

Well it won't be a 200C for much longer. I think from looking at the fluid that the tranny's going to be leaving me fairly soon and there's no way I'm putting another metric 200 back in it.
That aside though, I thought the 83 Canadian automatic V8s all got 200Cs and in 84 they got the 700s.
