89 TTA Value
This past weekend, I got a contact telling me about some TTA's in his area, so I got the phone numbers. I contacted one guy and he has not really driven the car for the past 3 years because he is afraid that someone would run into it or damage it.
so anyway the ar has 92,000 miles, it sounds like it is pretty clean with the way he is afraid to drive it.
He offered it to me for $9,000, I figure I could pick it up for around 8000, is this a good price for the car?

Dude, $8K for a TTA with less than 100K miles in great condition if it is, that's a VERY good deal.
I need to get one of those car next
I had one for about 1 week til I got an offer that I couldn't refuse to sell it...

Well I personally wouldn't pay more than $12K with that milage considering how many low milage TTA's there are but I'm sure you could find someone to pay $14K if it's in very good condition.

Well I know that I would never be able to sell it to any of you... Now that you know what I bought it for...
I am just thinking about making a few bucks is all... I do this from time to time, it makes my wife nervous tho

Sounds like a good deal at $8k. I would not expect to get any more than $8-$9k selling it though. These cars pop up for around $10k-$12k with 50-60 thousand miles. There is a buyer for everything so you could potentially find someone who would pay it eventually but I suspect you would be waiting for a while. I would buy it and keep it at that price. You could put 50 thousand miles on it and still be able to sell it for $5k-$6k no problem. Good luck.
