I have an 82 z-28 now heavily modified, but I am wondering if it was rare originaly,,,,,

1, cross fire v-8
2 t-tops
3 4 speed auto
4 conteur interior ( charcoal grey color)
5 A/C
6 charcoal mettallic paint
7 crank windows
8 the good stereo system (ERS)
9 power locks
10 leather glove pouch ( it even has th z28 logo under the pouch)
11. carpeted rear hatch area...

do any of these options or combonations of options make the car rare???

 

Sounds like a normal optioned Z-28, but if it's an 82 Z and still in good shape....now THAT's rare! There aren't a whole lot of good 82's out there.

 

Nah, but the pouch gets some interest from me. Never seen 1 of those on an early Camaro before. I've only seen them in some special editions like Anniversary cars and stuff.

Thanks for the replies, that makes me feel better about all the mods I have done to it, it now has the front clip of of an 86 iroc, 350 crate motor, holley 750 ( not a double pumper ) true dual exhaust, 87 rear wing with the third brake light. b&m megashifter, 700r4 out of an 87 vette, and many little things. I just love having an old z28 that smokes all these new mustangs, he he.....

 

I didn't think 4 speed autos came in 82's. I thought they got 3 speeds, and 4 speeds started in 83.

These numbers are all from the white book, so I'd agree and say its not all that rare. But like they said, not too many nice 82s out there.

 

I would think anything with the Lear Siegler seats was fairly rare.

My 84 Z28 had them and I've probably only seen 20 cars with them over the years.
