I've got a chance to buy an 87 Z-28 (non-IROC) Vert, at a very low price. Car has 95,000 miles and a few dings. Basically, needs some body work and complete painting. Interior also needs work; i.e. carpet and left door panel.
I'm afraid if I don't buy it, I'll be regretting it. Are these cars rare enough that I should jump on this, even with the work that is needed? Body is solid with just very little surface rust around right rear wheel well.
Realize you can't tell me much without seeing it, but your opinion on these cars is valuable.

Seller was gone almost all day, but finally got the VIN. It's
1G1FP31HXHN149244.
Please let me know what you think. Owner does not know this cars heritage/rarity.
