Strange Ground Effects

I saw a Formula at a gas station today with aftermarket ground effects (the kind that look similar to a testarossa on the sides). I had seen them online for sale before. Now we went in and talked to the owner. And she told us that she had bought the car brand new from the dealer that way. We asked to look at it, and she said "sure- its nothing special". It was a beautiful red 92 hardtop formula, 5.7, ws6. Really good looking. But i figured it was installed by the dealer. Has anyone heard of anything like this before? Or know anything about this. I thought it was interesting. Thanks for readin

I have seen one like that before always assumed that it was done at a later date maybe it is something like the pro am firebirds of the 80`s and they were done by choo-choo customs or something. BTW were did you see the car at.

I used to have that kit on my car. After a while I got tired of it, and really started liking the looks of the Formulas, so I took it off. Costs a good $600 and its a whole lot of pieces, so its not easy to install. Looks good, but I prefer clean cars now......

Had to be installed by the dealer. For some strange reason.
