No really a search has been helpful to me and many others as this has been brought up many times, and most people get tired of answering the same question everday, they just smile with a bit of grit
.
My Info might be rusty but Im pretty sure it is either in the center console, or on the backside of the locking hatch in the back, if that fails go to your local dealer and give them the VIN and I think for 10 (10 CAN$ not sure for US) you can get a fax from Chev for your RPO's.

You can get the RPO codes from the dealer if your car is 10 years old or less... if it is more than 10 years old, you might be able to, but it's a longshot. They didn't have the codes on record for my 1990, which begs the question: what do they do with these codes after the required 10 year holding period is over? The guy at Chevy told me that they just delete them from system. It sounds silly that they would basically just throw them away. I would think that some F-body club/historical society/etc. would be interested in these facts and want to preserve them. Any way of finding this out? I've torn my convertible apart and have never found the RPO sheet for it. I know that on convertibles they were sometimes put in places other than the console or the rear compartment door. I do have the original window sticker, but it still leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

I have the same problem. The local Chevy Dealer could not help me with my 87. Only other source is the "Camaro White Book" I purchased a copy and I was able to generate a list of RPO's for my car, but I can't say that it's complete. Good Luck.

your only real hope if the car is not canadian built and the first owner still doesnt own it- is if you find a build sheet in the car somewhere
good luck

Just a though, you might ask arround the board and find someone with a similar equiped car that has their RPO codes to send them to you. Can't hurt, and it could give you a place to start. Yes, I know it's cheating, but in the infamous words of a Submarine Captain I sailed for: "If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying"
