Formula on Ebay...

This one has 2 tone seats, as you can see in the picture...didn't they kill the 2 tone back around '87 or so??? Car seems original otherwise, and a nice car...but those seats make me wonder...

At first glance that interior looks like an 83-84 Firebird interior but I could be wrong. I always call it the "chocolate" style because it's 2-tone brown and reminds me of a chocolate ice cream cone.

Look closely at that red Formula's interior at the back seat: the back cushion does not seem to match the chocolate lower cushions. The color and the seams are different.

I don't know exactly what that Formula has, but here's my 84 Firebird S/E interior for comparison. Looks darker, but only because of the lighting. The plastic siding and seat belt guides are different too. The color scheme is 83-84 only and optional.

I hope this helps

Seller said that the interior was replaced around the same time a new paint job was done. Maybe it's a custom recovering?

Recaros might look really good with "chocolate" style. That interior is one of my favorite except the seats.

No. Brown wasn't an optional color that late in the game. Notice the carpet, and seats are brown. Its curious cause the recline handle is 91.5-92 style, so at least that part of the seat is correct.

Really doubt it. Look at my attached picture above; brown 2 tone seats. They are 83-84 only, Firebird only, optional only. That's probably what the red Formula has in it. i can't think of any other thirdgen with those colors.
