Can it be? A 1LE on Ebay???

I think this is it, I double checked EVERYTHING, the spare aluminum wheel, the round automatic shift button, and it all checks out. Is this a real 1LE?

This one is old news. I've personally seen the car and talked to the owner. I thought the car was sold. The deal must have fallen through. There's good discussion here:

They were originally intended to come without and the vast majority did, however there were probably a few that slipped through.

The Red Z28 1LE auction is a joke. I have seen it on there 4 times now. Its always amazing when the bidders are set on private. That tells me that the owner is purposely bidding his car up in price. Come on. He paid like $11-$12k for the car. Those cars are rare but certainly not worth that price yet. Trans am is very cool though.
