1984 anniversary trans am

anybody know how to tell if this car is genuine? can i tell with the vin number or do i need numbers from the interior?

Either send the VIN to PHS or verify it by making sure it has all of the correct 15th only parts and that nothing is out of place. I've never seen a faked one...

Car: 1982 Recaro T/A

Engine: LU5 CFI 305 V8

Transmission: TH-200C

Axle/Gears: 3.23 F-body Fanatic: Yes

Look at the cowl plate for these codes: "604 AQ9 CC1". if they are ALL there, then it's an original 84 15th anniv T/A.

No telling what appearance or mechanical mods it might have though. I'd have to see pics. If you have 'em, post 'em! good luck
