There were no records of combinations like that at all. But there were probably ALOT of cars like yours.

man and i thought my car was special i guess not can u tell me how many had l69s ho with 5 spd
1984 marked the high point of production for the Z28. I honestly think I have seen more 84 H.O's than LG4's!!
Leather???
You have a pretty cool car, but not one that is super rare. 83 H.O cars were rare (3223 made) and 85's too, but the 84's are pretty common.
Hang onto it and enjoy it!

Yes, I know for sure. It was.
Dual exhaust did not exist for these cars, ever, on any model. So if your car has that on it, it's not original.
Most of the HO cars tended to be optioned up somewhat. Not too many of them were strippers with no power anything.
In 84, about ¼ of them that I have seen (which is a great many) were 5-speeds.
As was said, it's not "rare", and it's not a particuarly desirable one, above other 84 HO 5-speed cars. But it's still a nice model car to have; enjoy it.

Mine has no power anything, no cassette, no ttops, no rear defrost, no AC. It has L69, 5 speed, 3.73 posi with disc brake axle, conteur seats, and red stripes down the hood and deck. Some idiot put a sunroof in it though.
It's black with red stripes with red interior....kinda rare... or at least unusual.
RB, he is probably talking about dual exhaust tips, not true duals, but you never know.

Yes sir, very obnoxious but it gives a ton of character!
What does L/S mean, lumbar support? If that's what it means, the driver's seat is fully manually adjustable.

L/S stands for Lear Siegler which I believe is the seat manufacturer. If I had been able to order an '84 Z28 I would have ordered the exact same car. The black and red combo is absolutely stunning. Sorry about your sunroof problem! Can you post some pics?

I actually had to repaint the car cause I wanted it to look perfect. We took measurements of the original stripes and masked it all off before painting. I am missing the decals that go above the ground effects, but I like it the way it is. I only have one picture on my computer and the car is at home (I'm at college).

Something like 50,000 '84 Z/28s with the HO motor were made i think..
Don't dump on it cuz its not rare though.. those L69s are great motors. My '83 Had one for a time, and is getting it back as soon as it is rebuilt.
