87 Camaro SC Convert Question

Did the 87 Camaro SC Convertable get Ground effects like the 88 SC & 89-90 RS cars?

I do not think I have ever seen a pic of one.

The 87 SC looked like the regular Camaro without GFX. 88 was the first year the base model came with GFX.

John, there were 744 Z28 based convertibles in 87. The majority of them were IROC's, but the official count is unknown. As for the SC, there were 263.

And I might add that the 1987 LT convertible production figure is included in the 263 SC's. This makes the SC LT the rarest of all regular production third gen Camaros (by production number).

To put this number into perspective, there were a total of 137,760 Camaros built in 1987. Kind of amazing how few SC convertibles were made.

I almost bought an 87 IROC convertable, but it only had the LG4. If it would have had TPI I would have been more interested...
