I found this while searching for the build sheet. I found it behind the radio. Anybody got any idea of what it is?
It says : F CAR I.P TEST RESULTS:1 TIME 00/09 02:39
CHEVY U21 LB9 A31 A90 T56 ( or so i think it says, kinda hard to tell because the paper is not in perfect condition)

Could this be something from the factory. That would be really cool. Anyway the hunt for the build sheets continues.

Yeah i know i was just wondering about the sticker. Did they test the panel at the factory and then put the sticker there?

Of course. They test everything they possibly can before they build it into a car.
Visit a car assembly plant sometime. It's a fascinating experience, well worth the trouble for anyone even dimly interested in working on cars. You will learn things you didn't even know you didn't know.
At the instrument panel factory, the entire dash assembly as it will go into a given model of car, is completely assembled, with its wiring. It has one giant plug behind the fusebox (which is included in the dash wiring harness, by the way) and a couple of other plugs that interface to other things that have to plug into the dash harness (A/C power supply wire, SES light, steering column & ign sw, body, etc.). They simply plug each of these connectors into a test fixture to verify that the dash performs as it's supposed to. Then it goes to the vehicle assembly plant, with its wiring attached, ready to bolt into a car and plug everything in.
That sticker is from where the dash assembly for a car with those RPO codes (one of a handful of dash part numbers that would have existed for these cars in that year) passed its final test.

That's right, it's the process that's so interesting; it would be nice to see one of the exact kind of car you're working on as it's being built, but just knowing the chunks that a car (almost any car) is broken up into, where the dividing lines between the various modules of it are, etc. is incredibly useful knowledge. I think of the trouble I've gone through taking something apart, a dash for example, without realizing that if instead of trying to take every wire off the back of the cluster I should take the entire wiring harness out with the cluster and it will take about a quarter as much time.... stuff like that.

i've been to the lordstown assembly plant twice, where they build the cavaliers and sunfires.
i would have loved to have been able to have toured the norwood plant.

Fog Lights: That would make sence considering they have to wire for the Switch.
