Now I have given my 82 some life through a well needed tune-up, oil change/ plugs/fuel lines, pump/ rebuilt electric quadrajet/ vacuum hoses/ belts etc. etc.
next thing is ripping out the carpet to repair the rust damage so I can lay a nice new padded carpet and the close to new seats I have in my storage room. After that the convertible top will need replacing. then I will want to add bolt ons to this engine (I beleive it to be a LG4 from an 84 Z28) this is where I need advise from you guys who through trial and error found the true and tried combinations that would really wake up this motor without actually removing it to work on it. I am not interested in Chrome or flash of any kind just advise on parts that will work great with this motor.
I want to keep the electric quadrajet and would like to know about what fully assembled heads are made for this motor, ignition, exhaust. any and all advise will be appreciated.
