What Dash is this? Camaro "embedded" into dash, not stickers....

Hey My dash is extremely messed up, it's got two huge holes in it and some cracks. Well I was looking at the yard yesterday and saw a dash in a camaro, and I don't know what year it is, but where the z28 or what have you badge usually is there was "camaro" embedded into the dash. Does anyone know anything more about this? BTW the heater controls were where the cigarette/defrost switches are (on the right of the steering wheel).

And I assume I can use this in my '88 sc right?

Sounds like a Berlinetta by the description of the heater controls...

I attached a pic, not sure who it belongs to lol, but I think that's what it looked like, right? Also, the radio pod in the pic is NOT stock, it would have a radio on a pillar sticking up out of the console.

yep, and just outside of view to the right is where it had camaro written on the dash. I like how it has that there, as usually that spot on the dash is really really empty, even with an RS/z28/25th badge there.

I think I wanna make sure there's nothing wrong with it and maybe swap it in for mine.

It was either my old '84 berlinetta or my '83 SC that had the embedded camaro name in its' dash.

Not really...the z28 emblem looks much better in my opinion. Besides, I don't think you could even put that dash in a non berlinetta car without using the whole dash.

You don't like it 91z? I like it mainly because it takes up more room, to make the empty dash less boring, but at the same time it's subtle. I personally like it more than any of the badges for those reasons....

And so it won't work with any other camaro other than a berlinetta? I didn't really get a good look at it, but it seemed to be the same dash, but anyone know for sure?

thanks

It will work in other Camaro's, but it's all or nothing. You'd have to swap the entire dash, console and wiring harness to make it work.

does anyone know for sure if the DASH PAD from a berlinetta would fit on other camaros? not the whole dash, just the pad.
