What do I got???
I am getting an 1990 iroc and to be honest I don't know a whole lot about them. I really enjoy my husbands so I thought what the hell I found one the I really like so I am getting it. I joined the boared to get other peoples imput also. My husband has told me a lot about them but I was wondering if anyone could just give me a little insight on what I am getting.
here are some quick details on the car:
has 305 TPI
700 R4
blue with grey interior
hard top
after marked air shocks in the rear
all options exept leather,
rear disc,
T-top, and
power mirrors
To be honest that is all I know and the only reason I know that is because Brian informed me of it but as far as anything else I am lost so any imput would be appreciated.

And what you are getting is a very nice car that I would probably be jelous of. Although it definatly needs a manual tranny

'90 IROCs are pretty rare.. only around 5000 made with the 305, and around 2400 with the 350.
One with a 5 speed though, is probably as rare as a 350 car is.
BTW - You either have T-tops, or you have a hard top. One or the other

You cannot have a hard top and t-top
You have either a Hard top (just solid roof), t-tops (2 removable glass/lexon panels), or a convertable, pick one.

OK you have made your point. I made a mistake I ment that one of the options that it did not have that I wanted was T-tops. It has the hard top.
my husband laughed his a#$ off when he saw that too.

Maybe when that time comes you'd be interested in possibly trading it for an actual 5 speed car to help save a rare one from being hacked ?

Rear shocks, I wouldn't use air shocks unless it's used as a tow vehicle.
When air shocks are used in the rear you increase pressure to offset trailer weight. The IROC likely came with Bilstein in the rear which are better for ride & handling.
