question about a camero gm made
My question is im am looking at a 91 1le z28 lb9 it has 2591miles
i have the build sheet it is a true 1le the car has a 8 point roll cage
and is said tot be 1of 10 gm parking lot cars they took out the 305 and put in a 383. i looked at the car yesterday and in the center console there is a trickflow heads sticker i know that can be put in but the ploit thickens.I pop the hood and there is markings on the strut towers for camber. i have the rpo sheet a copy it has all the codes and i have the vin to. does chevy have a historyan that would verifiy this because i want to get this car.
any info would be great.

Camaro, not Camero.
Did GM officially make 10 of these cars? No.
383? No. Trickflow heads? No.
Sounds like a pretty cool car though, I would still consider buying it, WHOEVER built it!
...but it wasn't GM.

Whats the asking price on it?
Also, what was the dealer that it was originally sold at? That may lead to some answers as to the history. Some dealers have been known to take a few cars and soup them up for a higher sticker price. Similar to the Yenko and COPO cars out there. There was another dealership back east that was doing this to 4th gens and was putting a 380hp sticker on the hood. DOn't remember the name though.
Just a thought.

who built it??
there is a simple answer to the last post....drive the car...it will take about 5 minutes to decide if the build is quality or junk....just becouse the origin of the parts is unknown doesnt mean you cant decide if its a quality job or not....if the car runs like stink,,doesnt overheat, has few creeks and rattles and all body panels line up properly,, i would say the car was built right an dtaken care of,,,theres just no real way to fake quality!!
