LU5 Crossfire Valve cover color??
Hello, I have an 82 TA with the crossfire option. The car has only 38,000 miles so I always assumed it had correct color valve covers... blue engine/black valve covers.... then I see a 92 w/crossfire at the wrecker that has a blue engine and blue valve covers.... what's correct? Thanks in advance! Steve

Transmission: 5 speed and vette has 700r4
Axle/Gears: 373's in T/A .. vette unknown
why in 82 did crossfire have its stuff black when the lg-4 was blue

Transmission: T/F and New Process
Axle/Gears: Three 8 3/4's & one 9 1/4
All 305's in F-bodies in 1982 were blue. Be it LG4 or LU5. In 1983, they wenr to all black. So for a correct appearance, the 82 motor should be all blue.
