Another eBay crackhead *sigh*

I know, I know...we've all seen listings like these many times before, but this one ranks right near the top IMHO. Check this one out:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

There are no interior pictures, no under-the-hood pictures, slight body damage (door dings and whatnot), and more things that I'm probably not catching. Best of all, the starting bid is 30 GRAND and it has a reserve! To put this into perspective, here's another listing that's far, far more detailed, and has been bid to approximately 1/3 of the price:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

What do I care? I don't, really, since I already have my IROC; I'm just bored to death at work on a Saturday afternoon

That's insane!! That's alot more than I paid for my '02 TA with less mileage!

In second auction
The 305 TPI HO was listed at 220 HP for insurance purposes, cars that were dynoed with this package showed closer to 300 HP.
Is this statement correct? Surely not...

As nice as that car looks, and even if it was worth that much coin, theres no way I would buy something of such a high value to a guy with 0 previous feedback.

why does that IROC in the second auction only have a 115mph speedo when he says it has the 3.45 gear rear end and 220hp..(which would mean G92)...?

It is a original car with its original dents and dings by the original owner. What more can you ask for its original.

Hes already replaced the fuel pump after only 17500 miles?! I'm thinking he forgot to put a '1' in front of that. I could restore a decent (say $5000) IROC to near showroom condition for much less that 30k!

Lets see. One car is in a state where people don't know how to punch a ballot, and the other is in a state that elected Hillary for Senator. Might explain a few things.

I have the G92 RPO, and I too had the 115 speedo. Along with 15" rims!

if there wasn't a reserve and it wasn't a low mileage car, i'd say that it's probably a typo and he meant to set the starting bid at 3,000 but i think he's just a moron

what do you mean, he jacked the price way up after the auction had started because he decided he didnt want to sell it after all? what sucks is for eBay autos, you have to pay them $50 whether your car sells or not. i found that out when i was gonna put my old camaro on ebay with a way high reserve, just to see what kinda price i could get for it. i guess it's to discourage guys like me

Well I dunno, its possible his girlfriend/wife or something told him to sell it.... so hes forced to put up "ads" to make it looks like hes doing somethin.

Hell, if it were me Id gladly put up the 50 bone so I could keep my car.

Kelly Blue Book lists this car (private party) at less than $3500. I would like to know what constitutes the other $26500?

Those 15" wheels is what caught my eye right off the bat. Saw a lot of them when I was shopping for an IROC back in '89.
