Ultra rare 91 RS gauges!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33675

If I had an ebay account I would yell at him... but whatever.

Thing is though, could he be that confused as to what year his car is?

He didn't say "91 model gauges", or anything of the kind; he said "out of my 91". He didn't say, for instance, if that meant perhaps "out of the back seat of my 91".

Of course, you can see just how highly desirable and sought-after that style of gauges is.

But don't you have to do a bunch of work to put a cable-driven speedo into an electric car? And isn't there other fabrication needed?

I just emailed a couple of potential buyers for gtas on ebay. One was an 85 GTA 350.The other claimed to be a 350 GTA even though the VIN clearly had an F as the 8th digit. That car didnt even have gta emblems and had a trans am dash pouch. If people would just do their homework they wouldnt get screwed so bad

You mean 350, right? I think he's only emailing the people who are bidding on 350 cars that have a VIN that says otherwise.

Yes i realize that they came with 305s.The 85 "GTA"is obviously a fraud because they didnt even come out until 87.The other 350 car i emailed about had an f as the 8th digit instead of an 8.I am just tired of people trying to pass off 350s as 305s and trans ams as GTAs Also as a side note,i work with someone who just recently purchased a car from ebay(A 96 taurus). They flew to florida and on the way home the motor blew.So far they have put in a new motor, transmission, and A/C.Apparently theres nothing they can do about.Ebay told them tough titty. As long as they get their money.

Wait a minute, there was no GTA in 85? Oh no! I bought one, it's parked next to my 83 Corvette, my factory LT5 powered 91 Firehawk, and my 92 Mustang Cobra. Oh, I forgot to mention, all of the above mentioned cars are factory catalytic converter delete, and the FIrehawk is a 7 speed.

GM made a few as prototypes, but since there was no 83 model year corvette certified by the EPA, there was no 83 corvette.

Nitpicker

I have pics of the 1 1983 vette too! Saw it at the national corvette muesum in Bowling Green, KY. The only one in exsistance remaining. White if I recall...I'll have to dig up my photo CD I have it on.

This is true. The owner is a local and has the car on display there or donated it back to the museum, can't remember.

But its a real, legal 1983 Corvette.
