Is the style pictured a Firebird S/E piece only? This came out of one. Were they on the base model as well? I think this is an '84 or '85. I am looking for one that is black. It says "firebird" under the bird.

It really depends on the year, I had an 83 with that same pouch, starting in the mid 80's I would guess 1985 just because of the other interior changes they cheepened the map pocket to the style above (black one).
I like d the 83 pouch better than my stock formula one, so I swapped it out., of course thats custom embroidery too...

That black one started in 1986. Before that 84 and 85 is like the red one, large bird and large "trans am" to its left, not small and under the bird like this s/e piece. I would like to find a black just like the red but if it is only an S/E then I am affraid this could be difficult.
