Thanks. The reason I asked is that I see where Hawk's has the 3rd gen covers in Burgundy. Thought that maybe if I could find a set of 3rd gen 'Bird seats already in Burgundy w/leg lifts I wouldn't have to have 'em redone. I like the 4th gen ones but the regular 3rd gen "Bird seats are a better match to the ones I have in my SS and can be had with the leg lifts, which is really all I want anyways.
Larry.

Hey Larry,

I don't believe the 85-88 dark claret (code 79) of your interior colour was ever used in f-bodies. Lots and Lots of other cars but not F's.

take care

You might be thinking Carmine........................

For 1985 at least "Carmine" was available in the Firebirds in the Pallex and Genor cloth trims and also the Sierra vinyl trims.

1985 Interior Fabric/Colors:

1. Medium Grey
2. Carmine
3. Black
4. Camel
5. Russet

For the Firebird and Base T/A with the buckets, the Sierra vinyl trim was std, Genor cloth optional

For Std Firebird SE and as an extra cost option for the T/A you could get a custom bucket in Pallex cloth.

Optional in all Firebirds was an adjustable bucket with the colors above in Pallex and leather/pallex.

With the Recaro Bucket you got the Pallex in Camel with the insert Grey only. (even though my Merchandiser catalog shows it to be in leather/pallex, this was not the final product)
