I recently bought a 1992 Camaro B4C (police package) and was wondering how I can determine the vehicle's service history. It is believed to be a former Texas DPS car. Thanks for any help.

There are some GM techs over at www.chevytalk.com than can look up dealer service records. Oil changes and such are not sent to GM though, just repairs. Carfax might give you some info to, post around for someone to run it on your vin number.

This is what I know about the car. I'll find out more when I get it here. It supposedly has 122,000 miles, new clutch, pressure plate, tires, and an aftermarket exhaust. It supposedly runs and drives excellent with no smoke, ticks, knocks. It was originally white/black Texas DPS car as you could see from the pictures. My plans are to repaint it black and replace the emblems with correct RS badges and clean it up. I'm taking a chance buying a car sight unseen, but I've been wanting one since I found out they existed. I'll keep you posted.

By the way, anyone know a cheap, reputable shipper? I can't take a day off of work to fly out there a drive it back, plus its almost as cheap to ship. I can't wait.

Work with a guy who's brother does shipping. Called Misty Creek Transport. Has good equipment and moves some high dollar cars. Try them or get several quotes from this site:
