Maybe the "Anniversary" designation of some of the models.

Like...1982 Camaro Z28 Indy 500 pace car replica,
1983 25th anniversary Daytona 500 Pace car replica.
1984 15th Anniversary T/A
1989 20th Anniversary T/A/Indy 500 pace car replica.
1992 25th Anniversary Camaro/ Heritage package. Z28/RS
1982-84 Recaro TransAm

(82-84) Firebird 500 and (89) Firebird XS (and other limited market/california special cars.)

1987 Convertible Camaro's had the 20th Anniversary map pocket...(ONLY convertibles).

1987 was also the year of the "return of the convertible", and it was GM's 75th anniversary. Hence, the 1987 convertible was given the "20th Anniversary Commemorative Edition" title. The coupe did not get this, which makes the convertible that much more desirable. It's the ONLY third generation Camaro to receive a map pocket. Today, the convertible remains the UNKNOWN ANNIVERSARY CAMARO.

Z28 was a car model ( with the same RPO #) and WS6 was not, it was a Trans Am or GTA with that RPO opton. Don't mix up Car models and RPO options for that car model.

your right as far as model wise but unless I misunderstood what he was asking he was asking what GM used as designations and names. WS6 while not a model on its own is one GM uses along with 1LE and B4C. instead of saying Camaro Z28 with the roadracing setup they would just say "1LE Camaro". He isn't sayin just seperate models, he's sayin special GM designations for the main performance stuff (stuff thats famous to the thirdgen and fbody community for a reason). See what I'm sayin?

Yes, to a small group of people that know that 1LE & WS6 stands for. All I am say don't confuse Model and RPO options.

No worries on the confusing part, I know the difference I was just stating and I think I said it earlier, I think he's just asking for the key things on thirdgens since he stated 1LE in the original post.

Export models already had a RPO number for that option again not a car model.

I know were getting off topic, but I kind of like the amber lights on the outside, and the red in the middle for tailights, it looks different... Kinda neat. Notice the "paddle style" mirrors to boot

Maybe in Germany or other counties it was for sale in, because the export items it required . Key word EXPORT not sold in the US market.
