25th anniversary question

I was planning to run to the book store & pick up something on this. I also looked around online for a while...I keep finding tons of information, but not quite what I am looking for.

Where is a good place, perfered online, that I could find production numbers for the 25th anniversary cars?

If you could direct me to the right place, I would appreciate it.

I sent away for it for my '86. It's a booklet that has everything and anything to do with your car for the specified year. It's actually something good to have, IMO anyway. It's free too!

Yes, indeed. Believe it or not, SOME of the restoration packages are over 100 pages, DOUBLE SIDED (200+ page sides)..

I have all the restoration Kits (32 in total) for the Camaro which is around 60lbs of paper ;-)

Not only specs, but some of the kits also contain historical information of past Camaro years and models, including special edition Camaro's.

Great information.

I found a number of them were stapled backwards (ie. 1, 2, 3, 5, 4, 7, 6, 9, 8, 10, 11....)

And some of them came with pages completely mixed up. Most of them are all numbered but you cannot always go by the numbering I've noticed.. MOST of the time you can rely on it, but on a very seldom amount of times I've had to resort to looking at the theme of the other kits which mostly follow the same type of layout for each kit.

I am sure you will be VERY happy with the kit when it arrives. :-)

if you only want to know how many camaros were produced in 1992, since ALL camaros produced in 1992 were considered 25th aniversary cars, such as mine, and it says so on the dash, there were 66,191 coupes, and 3, 816 verts, for a total of 70,007 25th anniversary camaros produced in 1992,

however if you ment to ask how many heritage edition 25th anniversary camaros were produced in 1992, you can check out camarosource's site at http://www.camarosource.ca/main_new_...eritage_ed.htm and see that 8,197 of those 70,007 were heratige styled

Not sure chevrolet will send you a 1992 Restoration kit. I was told many times, and read many times that there don't have 1992 kits.

I've had people email me asking me why Chevrolet said they did not have 1992 kits when they requested one for 1992.

I've heard that Chevrolet told people who request 1992 kits that they did not produce them because the 1991 was the same as 1992.

I know this is not true because I have the 1992 kit. I received it from a friend who received it about 2 years ago and he mentioned that it was sent specially for him by Chevrolet as he helped restore CHP Police Patrol cars for the CHP department.

The kit is close to the 1991 however is not the same when it comes to color combinations, etc. And so the restoration kits are different.

The proof of the 1992 is in the picture I took of the 1992 kit with it's pages all layed out
