Ertl's are the bottom of the barrel in the 1/18th scale world, horrible quality, worn out molds, and poor fit. I'll wait till someone else comes out with one.

Well I have been waiting for a 1/18 thirdgen Bird' model for so long that I will live w/ the fact that its from Ertl.
I think the 1/18 82-84 Z28's have been out for about a year now. (I forget who makes them).
I cant wait till the stock ones come out

Man, it's about time.... I've been sending emails for three years now to every company I could think of or get info for trying to get some 3rdGen T/As made in 1:18, or in any other scale.
Beggars can't exactly be choosers....
That looks like a good model to me. I've never had issues with ERTL's quality.... and I have a bunch of them. It's true that sometimes "you get what you pay for".... but a $60 diecast is going to be out of range for some folks, regardless of the quality.
I'll be signing up for one.... or more.
