Just a real quickie (I hope!!) I've searched on the board and not really found an answer (might well be I'm not looking properly - if so apologies!!)... it strikes me that from a production sequence of 159985 on a '92 RS make's this quite a late one (july/august?) could anyone please confirm (or deny!) this?

is there any way of finding out actually HOW far from the last one produced this is?

thanks for any help :hail:

well a little more looking and.... correct me if I'm wrong but this make it effectively 20k from the end of production which I'd guess in car manufacturers terms means it's a run-out model? any observations anyone?

Thats from the Standard Catalog of CAMARO, so it may be in error.

Production sequence #159985 puts your car being built on or about July 7th, 8th, or 9th. There were 70,008 Camaros built in 1992 so yours would be 10,023 from the end.

Irocfan, updated info on your car. Build date on NL159985 is 7-2-92. It was delivered to Jon Hall Chevrolet in Daytona Beach, FL and sold on 9-16-92 with 58 miles showing. Looks like you have two open campaigns on this car. #92047 Shift control cable, and #94035 Fuel filler neck to fuel tank solder joint.

just WOW :hail: :hail: to say I am impressed is an understatement... many thanks

one thing I can tell you though is this 'maro will not have been driven on US roads with a private owner since it was exported to the UK in that month (cost on the road UK taxes paid etc £15,300 - which I believe at the time was, near as makes no difference, $30,600) where it has had 5 owners and covered 89k miles... conditionwise the interior looks like new and the exterior isn't far behind
