That is a great example of a Survivor, I hope it finds agood home.
Without seeing the Vin # and RPO sheet I would have to say it is just a well optioned (base) Firebird. Also notice it has the base model taillights, S/E's had tinted T/A style lights. No S/E badges either.
All of that leads me to say its a base bird

This is an 84, didnt the tint taillights start in 85 (T/A style) ?
I was thinking the interior made it an S/E. I love it

If it were an S/E the Vin would have an X as the 5th digit
Vin just says its a bird
And a helluva nice one at that. Thats the first time Ive seen that interior in nice shape, and it looks awsome.

I think it's on Ebay right now.
I'm loving the interior...
I agree it would be a pretty great match for my '83...

Very clean 84 even if a base bird.
Uh Dan,
Alex is running out of room to store cars, you know!
Then again, you love those early third gens! Why don't you get it!
Either one of you guys can store it out here at my place!
I seem to recall that those hubcaps came out in '85! I could be wrong, but I don't feel like walking 125 feet outside just to look it up in my product books! It's kinda cold out!

I don't really want a base anyways
What?
You don't want to corner the market???
Come on, there more streets around your house!
Lisa has a regular Bird!
The way all of us are buying cars, I figure that we all can get together, and line up our cars, and have almost every year car for a big picture!
Between Alex, Brian, Dan, Lisa, me, and a few other friends, we can do it!

I love seeing base model firebirds in excellent shape. Mine used to be that way.
I don't know if anyone answered the question about how well the v6 was in those cars.
I had an 84 S/E (a real pile...) and it had the H.O. V6 carburated. I had to rebuild the carb and due a tune up to my car but don't expect much performance out of it. My car drove pretty well, once it started to run smoother, but the acelleration wasn't there. I don't know if it was a different set of gears in the rear or what but my IRON DUKE bird felt faster in accelleration. Ive got 3.73 gears and I think the S/E had 4 something.....
I wouldn't mind having that firebird! It looks to be in real fine shape.
