AC Control lighting

I've noticed that the left side of my AC/Heat controller is very dimly lit at night. Does anyone know how many lightbulbs are in the AC controller? All other lights in the car work, even the small light under the center dash vents. I'm hoping someone says there are 2 bulbs in there and 1 might be dead. Thanks.

I can only speak for the Firebirds...but There is one light bulb on the right side of the HVAC controls. That is why it is dim on the left side. One bulb is doing all the work, and its on the right.

One bulb on the pass side. I swapped in a high-intensity 194. The swap helped, but the effect still leaves something to be desired.

The left side of your HVAC controls will always be a bit dim.

I replaced the 194 with an LED replacement. It got a little better, but not by much.

Some of the T/A HVACs use 3 bulbs, but they're the #74(smaller) style bulb.Much better lighting though.
