My sources don't list those wheels as an option for '86. They didn't start until they were offered on the 87 GTA's. As for the grid, mine has it. The large sway bars (36mm hollow front, 24 mm hollow rear) are factory for the WS6, and four wheels disc... an option.

Geez, those graphics on your page look familiar!!

The GTA style wheels in charcoal were available on 86 TA's. They show up as PW7 WHEEL, 16 X 8, ALUMINUM, DIAMOND SPOKE on the RPO Code sheet.

That spoiler was also available, but didn't show up with paint until 87. Replacement spoilers are available from GTA Auto Accessories. They have the center banner at the top of this page. They make a fiberglass version that doesn't warp like a foam cup in the oven.

oops, SSS is correct. PW7 was a no charge option. They are listed as 16 inch super light diamond spoke cast-aluminun wheels.

There should be a sticker in your console that has the option codes on it. The sticker will show if the wheels are original and give you a complete list of options. If the sticker is missing you may be able to find a build sheet under your rug. I found my 86TA build sheet under the rug behind the passenger sheet.

Tom,

Those are factory, original wheels on a late '86. Mine was assembled in July 1986, and has the WS6 RPO as well:

If it had 16" wheels on it originally, then it has WS6. Couldnt get 16's without WS6.
