not only is GM killing these cars, the goverment GM and insurance companies are going to get together and confinscate every last third gen ever made.

They are going to turn the metal in to front wheel drive pigs so you can be safe and save on gas..... oh yeah there gettin all those bad mean guns too... you can't be trusted you might hurt yourself... LOL

 

scott's right on, when I drive a FWD car in the snow if it starts to slide your basically screwed, unless you got brains, but it doesn't happen too often. I'd take a FWD in the snow on mtn roads anyday before I'd take my '67 camaro on em. I'd end up at the bottom of the cliff in the '67.

Personally I'd like to see a 400hp AWD, ever driven a cyclone? plus better handling in the snow.

But the way I look at it I'll keep driving the older faster modified cars. I can't afford a newer car anyhow. I'd rather put my money to the street and not to the bank to pay off my loan.

 

I dont know if u guys remember there was an add for 98 camaro and firebirds the camaros add featured a red camaro driving down the highway while a bunch of guys in harleys were riding beside the car.(how terrible)Second the firebird has to have the best add ive seen in a long time when the firebird is behind some time of exotic car, i think it was a ferrari and as soon as the light turned green it just ran right through the ferrari and destroyed. Man was that sweet.

 

They have plans to make a 5th gen F BODY.My friend works at a gm dealership ,he says that they are going to older styling like in the late sixties.It's still in the first phase but they plan on going ahead with it,I've seen some drawings from gm they look pretty cool
