I think I also have a set of the turbo fin wheels but I Think they should have some type of covers? Like that bowling ball thing!

The N24 Turbo-finned wheels had a small center cap like the N78 hi-tec turbo wheels. The N89 turbo-cast wheels are the ones that had the bowling ball cap. Is the face of the fins machined or cast finish?

That is the style I have

That is the style I have on the car I'm parting out. I also have the Small gnx that came in front of the front wheel & behind the rear wheel. They would work on a straight firebird.

John, the picture you posted is of a 1983 15" N24 wheel. The fins have a painted face. in 1984 N24's had a machined face.

N24's were used in 83 and 84.

For 83 I have seen gold finned and bluish/grey finned.

For 84 I have seen gold, bluish grey, and red (all have a machined face on the fin).

For Firebirds N24's were made in 14 and 15" sizes.

I have also seen this style wheel on Fieros and G/P's from that era.

Are these basically the same casting as the bowlling ball hubcap rims but not machined to accept the cap?

Modern wheels,Western wheel,Kelly-hayes made the Turbo Finned & Turbo cast wheels. They each have their own castings for obvious reasons.
