Does anyone remember a 1986 "Team Camaro"?

What it was is basically a base Camaro Sport Coupe in Blue, Yellow, or Red (These are the colors I remember), then was silver from the middle of the doors down with big black Letter with TEAM CAMARO spelled out. There was a spoiler on the back simular to the T/A's in flat black and after market groundeffects on them too. I remember there being 4 or 5 of them in my town. They are all gone now, and have been for a while. All were 2.8L's as it said on the rear bumper. I think this is a case of a Local dealer taking a creative license.

Actually, they were one of the creations from Choo Choo Customs.. I know because I got copies of the brocheures form CCC when doing some research on my own car.
They also did a few other "models" - the SS and an SX.
I have yet to see any of these cars other than in these brocheurs.

Oh, I forgot to mention that in this line-up, the SS was the "lowest" version, then the SX, and finally the TeamCamaro as their top of the line conversion.

Cool, so i'm not losing it, as I was only 8 years old when these cars were out and barely remember them. I have asked a few people and they looked at me like I stepped out of a spaceship. The only other person that remembers them is my best friend.

Is there a chance that you could scan me a few pics from the brochure and e-mail them to me??

Sure, I'll give it a shot - I can't guarantee the result though, as what I have are just copies of the brochures - so they are in black/white..

Thats it!!!!! Only I remember them having the steel factory rims but it looks exactly as I remember it!!! They were pretty common in my town, 2 high schoolers had them that worked at the P&C (Grocery store) around the block from me (they knew my older brothers that were in high school at the time). I would love to find one just to have. I wonder how many were made? I also remember them being new on the dealer lot, they had alot of 'em too, at least 8. Thanks for posting the pics.
