B4C guys in here PLEASE...

I bet your cars were all stripped before your even saw them, but would you have any idea where the siren speaker was mounted on your cars? They're usually behind the grille of Crown Vics and Caprices...so perhaps behind the nose? I'm installing a PA in my 89 RS, and am wondering if it's better to aim the speaker down so it would reflect off the pavement, or more conventionally forward...I figure you guys are the ones to ask. Thanks!

Edelbrock TES (Jet-hot coated)

Edelbrock 3" Cat-back

Coming:
KYB shocks
Edelbrock Strut Tower Brace
South Side Machine subframe connectors

When your buddy reaches for a 10-pound sledge and says "I think we're gonna have to modify the floor pan, okay?" the answer is NO.

no...it was like right behind the grill...but they had like everything under the hood chrome so it was pretty easy to spot it though the grill...well hope that helps..

I think that the one that came with the NEB state patrol car was mounted inside the light bar (in the chrome between the lights) thats all i can say for my car I guess that that probley dosent give ya much help but that is a real B4C I think that this is the way alot of them came (the lightbars having the sirens built in)

later

Thanks for the input, guys...I'm going to try and mount it right behind the grille...I don't think that will take too much out of the airflow...like it matters that much anyway...thanks again!

The cars that I've owned have had them mounted by the air dam, I believe on the driver's side. Sometimes agencies, such as CHP drill holes in the front valance so that the siren could be heard. This is just from my experience. HTHs.
