where does your washer fluid come out
i have a 1988 GTA and a base 1986 bird. on the GTA the washer fluid comes out of the windshield wiper arms in three locations, on the 86 it is sprayed from two spots in front of the windshield. my question is this: is the "wiper arm" style a GTA thing, or an 87+ thing. so post up. if you have any 87+ firebird, any option level, where does your washer fluid come from? please include year and option level (base, formula, TransAm, GTA) thanks guys. or if somone just happens to know off hand i supose you could post that... and ruin my fun

Starting in 1987 the windshield washers were placed on the arm of the Wiper, for ALL F-Bodies...

thanks okfoz. i figured you would chime in eventualy.
another question, those that have had both, which do you like better. i like the pre 87 style. more windshield coverage. my GTA wipes the fluid away before it has a chance to clean the whole windshield. it sucks.

Wow... I never noticed a difference between my 88 GTA and all of my other thirdgens that were 86 or older.
Next time I visit the car I'll have to check. I could have sworn that my GTA was the same as the others.

in the winter it definately has a tendancy to freeze, at least it does with all the cars I have owned... never driven an F-boyd in the snow...
