Nope, all 91-92 z's have that spoiler. Anyway, does anyone know what option made this "one of a kind"?

My car is identicle to that one except I don't have the Heritage package I have every single one of those options.I've got "special order" Gunmetal Grey wheels though. Most arctic white Z's I see have white wheels.I wonder if my car is a 1 of 1 in Canada?

I didn't think that 1992 Camaros had anti-lock brakes and passenger side airbags as an option...

No, not really. I'm lucky enough to not have to wonder.....

This was taken on September 24, 1988..... and I had owned my car for about 20 hours when this photo was shot.

The F-40 style wing was standard on Z28's in 1991-1992.

Well, not all the 91-92 Z's had the wing. The vert's kept the low wing.

If we are going to nitpick....the 'verts got their own dedicated spoiler.I believe it was used to cover up the lines where the pillars where cut.I think.

I emailed the owner of the white 92 z and asked what made it unique and "one of a kind". I asked for a pic of the sticker and a pic of the rpo list.

Hopefully I will get an answer today.

There was another z exactly like this except it was the red with black stripes. It also had 1500 miles and that one is located in Utah. He wants $19,500 for his.

I would be afraid to drive it and scratch it.

Any car under 10k miles in my opinion is a show car, not for daily or even once a week use.

I guess alot of people bought the 92 camaros with the heritage package hoping that this camaros will bring alot of money 10 years down the road. I think they will have to wait a few more years before these low mile camaros get the $20-$25k people are asking now for them.

Hope this helps and I will let you know what makes this white z "one of a kind"

Manny

The guy I bought my IROC from thought it would go up in value if he waited long enough, I guess he didn't wait long enough before selling it. It stickered at about $17,500 before taxes, etc., and I bought it for about two-thirds of that price. I don't know, or care if it will ever go up in value more than the rate of inflation. I bought it because I love IROCs, and it was the best I could afford to get.

EDIT: I bought it in Jan.2000 with 2,138 original miles.

The car could have came with anti lock brakes. I have seen that some where but it definately does not have a passenger side air bag. I clicked on the pic of the interior and it doesn't have one none of the third gens did.

One of my friends installed aftermarket abs into his thirdgen Camaro years ago. He said it was the biggest pita he had ever attempted, could never get it to work quite right, and said he should never have attempted to do it.

As for what my Camaro looked like new... since I bought mine new (pic here if you like), I know quite well how it looked, and I like the way it looks now a lot better. It sure was nice when all of the components were nice and shiny and didn't have any wear on them though...

NHcamaro,

I agree with you on the quality of pics. I have already emailed the guy twice for a pic of the window sticker and a list of the rpo's.

Still no response. I just want to know what his z28 has that is different from mine. i now think that the guy does not have "a one of a kind"????

After reading that letter, the wording makes it sound like the only thing special about it is the COMBINATION of options the guy ordered. Not necessarily one option that all others didn't have, just the pairing of them (like a 350 with M5 would be....).

Auction ended at $10k with the reserve NOT met!! There were 2 bid retractions,, I wonder why???

I never got a response from the owner. If he was proud of his "one of a kind" car, would you like to show it off and give all the info you had on it and what made it a one of a kind. I would!!!

I believe since the guy never responded to any emails, he was full of bull****. That is my opinion.

He probably typed up the letter in my opinion!!!

Anyone wanna see a pic of my car brand new???

http://www.geocities.com/jee89/mycar.html

I was there when it was purchased Granted, I didn't buy it (I was 9 at the time!!), but I remember sitting in it with a silly grin while my parents signed the paperwork. It was a 95 degree day and I was sweating my tail off, but when you're 9 I guess that doesn't matter

I even have the ad from when my car was advertised by the local Chevy dealer!! Wish I had owned my Z new though
