I dont think any formulas were available with t-tops and the 350 motor in 87. Make sure you have a 350. The 8th digit in the vin should be an 8.

I was selling Pontiacs back then and you could only get T-Tops with the 305. You might check to see if the tops are an aftermarket addition. Look for CC1 on the RPO code sticker.

i bought this car from someone i know well and they said that this car was a limited edition 350. i dont know if a dealer decided to make a few t tops or something but i know it came with t-tops because i have the photos of him the day he bought it. if they didnt mass produce them then maybe it was a dealer thing or maybe it is a special edition. anyway what would it be worth?

Is the engine original? If so its not a LT1 or a corvette engine, if its not original the cars worthless from a collectible standpoint.

i dont think its original if its not a corvette LT1 then it was definitly rebuilt i would love to sell it to a collector but i agree with you that if the engine is not original that it is worthless to them. if someone put 5000 into this car it could be a 10-11 second car. i would like to sell it to someone that will do that to it instead of parting it out

TTops were definately available on 350 cars from '87-'89, but were generally not available from '90-'92. Your car is not common, but is far from rare. I beleive there were over 6000 Formula 350's made in '87, and quite a few had ttops. Asolutely none came stock with an LT1, does the motor look like this?
