N10 exhaust, GTA...

in 1989, the N10 dual cat deal was listed as an option for the 5.7 GTA. I saw on franieriders page that about 6500 cars got the L98 but only about 3000 cars total got the N10 dual cat setup. I always thought the 350 cars got dual cats no matter what?? why was it optional on 89's??? any info?

thanks

im pretty sure dual cats were standard on 89 and up 350.. i don't know if SLP put them on all the 89+ 350's or if it was just an option.

There are other L98 f-bodies in 89 than just the GTA. And dual cats was an option in 89, but standard in 90-92, for L98's only.
